Custom wax paper is a thin food wrapping sheet with a wax coating on both sides. The coating keeps natural moisture of burgers, fried chicken, and deli sandwiches inside the wrap, so bread stays soft and fillings don’t dry out. That makes it useful for short-term food preservation on the counter or in the fridge. The non-stick surface means cheese, frosting, and sauce won’t tear the paper when customers unwrap their food.
Each sheet is made with FDA-compliant paper and printed with food-safe, water-based inks. That means it can touch food directly. You can choose from two wax types. Paraffin wax is the standard coating and gives a smooth, even finish. Soy wax comes from soybean oil and is a plant-based option. White wax coated paper gives bright, sharp prints, while natural kraft gives a warm, rustic look. For very oily foods, greaseproof paper blocks fat without any wax. Soy wax and natural kraft sheets are also biodegradable, which helps brands cut back on plastic wrap.
Common sheet sizes are 6x6, 7x7, 8x8, 10x10, 12x12, 12x15, 14x14, and 14x18 inches. Small squares fit cookies, pastries, and bagels. Sheets from 12x12 to 14x18 wrap burgers, subs, and burritos or line baskets and trays. We also offer custom sizes, rolls, and paper weights from 30 to 90 gsm.
